Why We Built This

Skating is more than an activity to us—it's part of our story.

I met my partner on the skate floor 14 years ago, and skating has been woven into our lives ever since. She and I skate weekly!

The idea for this platform was born on one of our skate trips. While driving to a skate center, a simple thought came up: there should be a better way to connect, support, and celebrate the skating community. Instead of searching for something that didn't exist, we decided to build it ourselves.

Along the way, this project also became a way for me to learn and grow—particularly in understanding and applying Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) in a meaningful, community-focused way. What started as an idea has evolved into a purpose-driven effort.

Today, many skate centers are closing, and the thought of losing these spaces—and the culture, joy, and connection they create—is deeply concerning. This project is our way of highlighting the love, health, and happiness that skating brings, and of doing our part to help keep the community alive.
